bamboo on rock
spring at Kyorai’s hut
should I ask?
blossom falls
like confetti
her name is dance
plum flowers underfoot
she cuts in
rainy season
swells the river
solitary crane
close the windows
cicada screech
count summer days
awake in the dark
typhoon
barely moves me
autumn decay
my view rusts
falls
hibernation
the only response
snow drifts
snowdrops
drink melt water
break new ground
bamboo on rock
spring at Kyorai’s hut
